Whitney Houston and Dana Bash
Whitney Elizabeth Houston was conceived in a musical family on 9 August 1993, in Newark New Jersey. Whitney is the daughter and cousin of the singer Dionne. In Newark Whitney started singing with the choir of the church as a small child. At the age 15 she accompanied her mother backing vocals in Chaka's smash Im Every Woman from 1978. Jermaine, her mother and Lou Rawls were a few of the artists she backed up. She was also briefly modeling for Seventeen magazine in the year 1981. She started as a featured singer for New York-based New York Funk band Material. The quality of her vocal performance attracted the attention of the major label Arista which she joined in 1983. Whitney Houston, her debut album released in 1985, was the top-selling album of a debut singer. The album contained several hit songs including How Will I know You're Good to Me, Saving all My Love For you and The Greatest Love of All. It allowed her to achieve seven US charts-topping singles in a row, a feat that beat the Beatles. It was the debut US year, the album was sold over 3 million units. It went on to be bought by over millions of people around the world which earned her the first Grammy. The album Whitney was released in 1987, and featuring the hit songs How Do Broken Hearts go? and I Wanna Dance With Somebody, continued her earlier success. It is The Bodyguard (1996) that made her one of the best-selling albums in pop music. The film itself as well as her performance in it weren't widely praised the soundtrack album and her cover of Dolly Parton song I Will Always Love You topped the singles and albums charts for months and sold 44 million copies across the world. The same year, she got married to Bobby Brown who was a former New Edition singer. She was the sole daughter of Bobby and Bobbi Kristina Brown. They were married on March 23, 1993. Around this time the drug use became well documented and she started using it daily by 1996.
Dana Bash or Dana Ruth Schwartz as she is more popularly known as an American anchorwoman reporter who also serves as CNN's political correspondent. The anchor has also created some of the network's weekend programs such as Evans & Novak' Late Edition' and Inside Politics.' She also worked with other well-known channels before, including NBC as well as CBS. Bash was awarded many times as well as a spot at the top of the Women in Washington Power List by Elle magazine. Her remarkable anchoring and reportage abilities are highly praised by a variety of journalists. On a personal level, the graduate from George Washington University is a doting mother to her only son. She is single and was married twice. Bash loves all her fans.
